Awaiting The Void

Awaiting the Void is a single track built from a single synth. A slow phrase opens the piece, each note allowed to fully ring out as heavily distorted delay bounces left and right in the stereo field. The phrase returns, notes now held and sustained, distortion thick and consuming. Dark, massive, and deliberately simple, the track creates an atmosphere closer to a horror score than ambient music. Created entirely within Bitwig Studio with no third-party tools, it stands as an early experiment in how much tension a single sound source can hold.
